class in Olney Ill.

I had a great day yesterday with the Olney Quilt Guild in Olney Ill.   I taught the Ashleigh quilt it is like a large carpenter star.    We had a false start last Saturday due to ice and snow so rescheduled it for yesterday.  all but one could attend that was great.
they learned how to make perfect HSTs  by sewing a little large and trimming using different methods no more eights inch measurements.   They they perfected their scant quarter in seams.  Most of them got all their HST's sewn and trimmed up couple started to sew the blocks together.  Here is a picture of the group.
